Orang Ulu

This unit draws inspiration from the traditional Ulu home, reflecting the rich heritage of the Orang Melanau, an indigenous group in Sarawak, Malaysia. 

These homes were built high off the ground to protect against floods and potential attacks, showcasing the community's adaptability and resourcefulness.

This unit takes inspiration from the traditional Melayu home, characterized by its open-floor layout with elongated rooms designed to encourage natural air circulation.
